General Info
Locally owned consulting engineering firm serving the Portland metropolitan area with a full range of site development services. Established in 1996. Initial work for AKS focused on forestry and subdivisions primarily and has grown to include all of the key services needed to develop a project. These now include civil engineering, water resources, surveying, planning, natural resources, GIS, landscape architecture, consulting arborist, forest/forest engineering, and construction support services. During the boom in the late 1990's and early 2000's, AKS quickly gained a reputation for getting projects done quickly and with great attention to detail. From that work, public agencies recognized the high quality work of the company and became a staple of the firm's portfolio. AKS now works with public agencies throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington while maintaining private contracts. Currently, AKS has offices located in Tualatin, Keizer, and Bend, Oregon, as well as Vancouver, Washington.
