I hired Masonry Designs to tear out my crumbling footpath and front steps. He installed a beautiful Blue Stone pathway and steps with a small retaining wall for my wife's flower bed. We were the envy of the neighborhood, and some neighbors subsequently hired him for similar projects. There was a crew at my house everyday bright and early until the project was done. While observing the entire project progress, I was impressed with the care they gave to the foundation on which everything was built. I had never thought so much steel and wire would be necessary for something as solid at stone and concrete. When I asked Vinny the owner why the need for all the metal, he told me that I will never have to worry about the stone cracking or shifting when he's done with it. I feel comfortable that he wasn't just feeding me a "line". I know a thing or two about home improvement, and I know he didn't skip a step or expense in ensuring me that his work will outlive me.
