  Premises Liability. Hirsch Law LLC also represents clients injured on the property of another where the injury was caused by the negligence of the property owner or someone else responsible for the care of the property. The occurrence of an injury alone is not sufficient to create liability. There must be negligence such as failing to timely remedy a defect, or failing to warn of a defective condition, that exists on the property.

The concept of bringing a lawsuit against a hospital or healthcare provider is often times a difficult one to accept because, in general, healthcare providers are dedicated to helping us. Nevertheless, there are times when severe medical errors, including some that are reckless, can have a profound effect on someone’s life. Unfortunately, the only relief available to a victim of medical malpractice is to pursue a claim which will typically be vigorously defended and almost always involve protracted and costly litigation. Because of the costly and time-consuming nature of medical malpractice cases, we screen each case very carefully. We will not accept a case simply because there was a bad medical result. Bad results happen, and in most cases, it is through no fault of the healthcare provider. But when the bad result occurs because of negligent or reckless conduct and that conduct produces life-changing injuries or death, a lawsuit may be necessary.
