I just moved to Troy, and needed a place to tan. I walked into LA tan and everyone there was so helpful! They always are so nice whenever I come in, and always try to help me better my tan by offering me different lotions and other ideas. I was impressed. Not to mention that the prices aren't bad either :)

As soon as I walked in the door I was quickly told you can't tan here! After asking why, I was told no kids allowed even if your ten year old is perfectly capable ofn sitting on a couch for ten minutes. I had quite a bit of business to offer but they don't seem to want it. Just be advised no kids allowed!!

My husband recently purchased a gift certificate from LA Tan for me for Mothers Day. Well I recently found out that I have skin cancer. So after speaking with my doctor about it, he urged me not to tan. Well my husband tried to get a refund back from the company. Well after waiting for someone to get back with me after 20 days they said absolutely no refunds. The owner of the troy salon said that there are others things I could purchase like lotion and jewelry or something. He stated there are signs posted at the salon. Which there were no signs. Also only after purchasing the gift certificate does it say on the back of the card that there are no refunds. Neither does it state on the receipt that there are no refunds given. I am very disturbed by the way this company treated us. I will never go to this tanning salon nor will I recommend this salon to anyone. Thanks and please be advised.
