I adopted a stray cat and brought him to the Animal Clinic for tests, shots, and grooming. Every single person in the office was so friendly and helpful! Dr. Thorpe is knowledgeable and very caring! I brought one of my other cats for a check-up, and sadly, if she is under stress, she sometimes will defecate in the carrier. No surprise, she did. The office staff was outstanding and understanding! They helped clean her, took the carrier to clean, and put me at ease - joking (and we all laughed) that this event was not an exceptional one, that "it comes with the job" and is not a reflection on me. lol. Dr. Thorpe honed in on a problem I was having with Stella and gave me an option to try. Awesome office!!

Dr. Thorpe is efficient and qualified. Cherry, the dog groomer, always does an excellent job. Unfortunately, the front desk staff is none of these things. Our records have been lost, twice, making our rabies renewal a challenge. We have been put on hold and disconnected mutiple times in the same call, and I don't believe we are listened to when we speak because we are asked to give the same information repeatedly. Expect to wait even with an appointment. We've found another vet due to these issues.

I was very glad to see that this office has a website. I used to bring my animals here after working at superpetz which used to be right across the street. I was at Superpetz for about 3 1/2 years and loved the environment and the staff at this office. Everyone thought of my pets as children as I do. I have moved a lot over the last few years but any vet I go to I compare to this clinic. Dr. Davis was the physician but Dr. Thorpe also treated my girls. I have two yorkies and have added a Newfoundland mix to the family a few years ago. This office with there caring and understanding wanted me to work with the animals even more. I have been employed with a small vets office in West Virginia for almost three years now and love it. The good with the bad evens out. I am planning to move back to the area this winter and this office is where all my girls shall come for treatment. If you love your babies as much as I do this is the place to bring them . thanks so much N. Mers
