I am very disappointed in this entire office staff and DR. My granddaughter was born very premature at 27 weeks and spent 96 days in the NICU. WE were referred to DR. O by Medicaid. Beginning in August my daughter in law and I visited this office weekly, then monthly until now. We requested and made sure the DR understood we needed SYNAGYS (the RSV shot) as soon as it was available to ensure my granddaughter was protected from RSV. SYNAGYS was available by Cooks Childrens pharmacy on NOV 1st. Did she get the shot? NO DId she get it Nov 5th, NO, November 10th NO.. and guess what... we were in the ER this weekend with my granddaughter! Now she is sicker than ever and when my daughter-in-law called to cancel the first SYNAGYS shot (FINALLY scheduled for this afternoon) they actually told her they were charging her a "no show" fee for canceling. Are you kidding me?? We asked for this shot over and over and the preparations should have been made WELL in advance to ensure the health of this micro preemie baby. The office blames everything on "the insurance" but my granddaughter has been on the same insurance and policy since her birth on May 2nd. There is NO excuse for this. I will make it my mission to ensure no mother takes her babies to this office. If you have had a great experience, consider yourself very lucky.
