A graduate of the Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California, Dr. Lura completed his residency in family medicine at the University of South Florida’s Morton Plant Mease Family Practice in Clearwater, FL, and thereafter made the sunshine state his permanent home. Now a board-certified family medicine physician who has been in practice for over a decade, his practical and straight-forward approach to medicine includes thoroughly evaluating every patient and communicating with them clearly, concisely, and in a way that helps them understand and be engaged in all the parameters of their care. As one of Florida’s most esteemed primary care physicians, he has earned both Patients’ Choice and Compassionate Doctor recognition awards for his dedicated patient care and unswerving commitment to the art and science of healing.
