The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission is responsible for promoting motor vehicle safety in the state. The commission provides information on obtaining school bus, boat and motorcycle titles and registrations. The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission issues driving licenses for motor vehicles, motorboats and snow mobiles. It also offers vehicle inspection services. The commission handles cases related to commercial driver license and parking violations. Additionally, the commission oversees the New Jersey Motorcycle Safety Education Program, which trains more than 8,000 riders annually. The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission is governed by the State of New Jersey.
