I'm A beginning welder, 15 years of commercial plumbing experience, and 10 years of pipefitting experience, so I decided I would teach myself to weld, I bought a cheap Welder, and needed a few things; when I stopped by Kennedy Welding Supplies; The guy at the counter which I think was the owner was very helpful, instead of talking down to me she spoke to me eye to eye, inside the box came a bunch of TIG Welding fittings, and he explained what each one of them was why they are that way which one goes with which, and various other things that I didn't even know to ask, I went in to buy a welding hat, and some gloves and left with tungsten for my TIG set up, also I asked him if he knew where I could get some scrap metal, and his partner went in the back and grab me a bunch of different types of metals about 30 pounds of stuff plates some square tubing and some round pipe and just gave it to me I only spent about $40 that day, but on Monday I'm going to go in and buy a $200 nitrogen bottle, which I'm sure I will get filled at Kennedy Welding Supply, so by being so helpful he has probably gained a customer for life, and because I have been in the trades so long, i've learned it's worth paying a few extra dollars, to have a supplier who is willing to share his knowledge with you, I would recommend Kennedy Welding Supplies to anyone!!!!
