The oldest son of Henry And Susie Ropp. There were 10 children in the family. Norman was the oldest of them all. Raised on a dairy farm. Norman wanted to be an auctioneer at the age of eight he decided then that was his calling. Norman went to auctioneer school (worldwide college of auctioneering) in Mason city, Iowa and graduated in 1992.After graduating, he worked for local auctioneers and then started his own Ropp auctions company. And has been very successful in auctioning throughout many different states.
