The Traverse Area Community Sailing organization is committed to providing sailing opportunities for the Grand Traverse Region by:· Increasing participation in sailing by community youth · Providing affordable sailing opportunities for community youth · Promoting respect and safety on the water while having fun · Providing a participatory activity which utilizes the unique environment indigenous to this area · Promoting life-long skills and life-long recreational activities · Providing opportunities for positive involvement and instruction for community youth during the summer · Promoting sailing’s Corinthian Spirit of Fair Play
