The Grand Traverse Civic Center operates Easing Pool that caters to the needs of professional swimmers, senior citizens and families. It is a public pool that has a teaching area, dry sauna and more than five lanes. The pool provides water aerobic classes and operates a private club, Breakers, which serves children between the ages of 6 and 18. Easing Pool offers swimming lessons and online registration solutions. The pool organizes camps and training events. In addition, it provides promotional packages for birthday parties. The Grand Traverse Civic Center is a part of Grand Traverse County Parks and Recreation. The department is governed by Grand Traverse County in Michigan.
