A National Register of Historic Places site built in 1842 by Chief Aghosa, Odawa and Chippewa people for Rev. Dougherty and his family. The House, summer kitchen, carriage shed, ice house and unique outhouse have been purchased and restored by volunteers to tell the story of life on the property from 1842 to 1910. It was a Mission House, farm, Inn, family home, summer home and now a Museum. Experience the demonstration garden and 15 acres of trails. Explore the Dougherty House connection to the Old Mission Lighthouse. ADA first floor, restroom and trail.
