Our goal is to help make your childbirth experience pleasant, relaxed, and safe. Our Providers will see you through prenatal care, delivery, and postpartum care, plus everything in-between.
- Mental HealthPostpartum visits are important! These visits enable your provider to confirm proper healing, provide additional education, and discuss birth control options for the future. Most importantly, these visits allow you to ask your provider any questions regarding breast feeding, mental health, and any other concerns you may have. New babies are always welcome!
- UltrasoundYou will see your doctor on the first visit; this is a great time to get to know you. The first visit is usually the longest one, as we will gather information about you, do an exam, gather blood and urine samples, and discuss how to increase your chances of having a healthy pregnancy. Your urine sample will be used for a urine drug screen as per Munson Medical Center's requirements. We drug screen in the first trimester to check for any risk factors that could impact your delivery. These drug screens are a requirement of Munson Medical Center and are not optional, we are not able to change this rule. An ultrasound exam may be done during this visit, but not always. You should come prepared with questions for this visit. Your first visit should ideally be scheduled between 10-12 weeks.
