Do NOT send your child here. They will lie to you about your child being sick so you will pick them up so they don't have to deal with them. They are constantly shuffling kids from room to room to try to stay in ratio, meaning bigger kids and smaller kids can be in the same room.
review is for SUNSHINE HOUSE TRAVELLERS REST SC, for the seek of the innocent babies left at this "so called daycare". I left my baby at this center and when I got home found SCRATCHES on her face and stomach. I had noticed that each time called the center my baby was crying nonstop except for the time she fell asleep. When I returned to the daycare to pick her up, I met my little one laying on her back on the floor crying and her nose, hair , fingers and clothes were covered with Gerber first solid food I had brought from home while the care giver was standing staring DOING NOTHING to pacify her. no one even bothered to clean her up. got home and just before I showed my baby started to notice marks all over her body. Then I called and spoke with the DIRECTOR ,wanting to know what had happened. She told me my little girl must have done it to herself with her earrings. I could not believe she pined it on an 8 month old baby. A child left in their care for an two adult to supervise. Beside babies cannot hold something as little as an earring. She even still finds it hard to hold finger foods let alone a tiny earring. I could not believe what I was hearing. I insisted she finds out from her employees and they did they don't know anything about it. Someone obviously is LIEING. This is the MEANEST and MOST UNREASONABLE SETS OF HUMANS I have ever come across my WHOLE LIFE. And if you have a baby who cannot speak with sunshine house , I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU!! I watched a tiny little baby cry and nobody would pick up that child. SUCH A SHAME AND WASTE OF RESOURCES to think you have someone caring for your child but DO NOT and they FAKE they care!!! THEY LACK ACCOUNTABILITY AND COVER UP BAD CONDUCTS by staff . That means innocent children can get abused and as a parent you will not be helped. SHAME SHAME SHAME!!!!! My baby has been going in and out of hospital ever since. Pls parents remove your children from HELL. I rate them MINUS 0

My daughter went here for four yrs until we switched when the new director and stAff came in. They are over crowded and would put kids in a younger class so they wouldnt be over ratio. There was a diff person every time i dropped her off and we never knew who would be there or what was going on. Will never go back

My daughter has went to this daycare since 9 wks of age and she is now 3 1/2. They have really worked on the infant room making more space and getting new equipment for the little ones. They have book fairs and "camps" in the summer with fun activities and water days. They have a transitional 4K program to get the children ready for kindergarten. I really like the girls at this center, especially her 3 year old teacher, she has learned alot since going into the 3 yr class. They helped tremendously with weening her from the bottle and with potty training. I am happy overall!

I toured the infant room twice (once unexpected) and it was awful. There are about 13 babies in one room with cribs along the walls and a cluster in the middle, leaving a tiny area of floor space to play. On the unexpected visit, there were 5-6 babies screaming in their crib and instead of attending to them one of the girls was writing text messages on her phone!!! When she did get up to feed one of them, the other employee told her she just fed him so he was just put back in the crib still screaming!!! I found out later that the baby was only 7 weeks old. Until I looked at other places, I cried for days thinking all daycares were like this. I felt like if I left my son there, they wouldn't even notice he was in the room until he needed something and screamed for an hour about it. If I could I would rate with NO stars.
