General Info
Established in 1986, PET+ER is a 24-hour emergency and critical care veterinary facility for dogs and cats. Based in Towson, Md., it has a range of diagnostic capabilities, including digital radiography, in-house lab work, endoscopy and ultrasonography. The treatment covers overnight treatment, monitoring or referrals from regular veterinarians, oxygen critical care unit and blood products for transfusions. The facility treats common ailments, including heat stroke, hit-by-car, seizures, stabilization and heart failure referrals, rodenticide ingestion, vomiting, diarrhea, and urinary tract infection. PET+ER is fully equipped to perform emergency surgery for conditions, such as foreign-body removal, bloat, urethral obstruction, pyometra, dystocia, and wound repairs.
