Health Law

• Social Security Disability
  Frank’s early legal career was at the Social Security Administration National Headquarters in Woodlawn thus giving him insider experience with the Social Security Disability process. Upon entering semi-retirement, Frank is no longer accepting Social Security Disability cases. However, he is always happy to help provide prospective claimants with information for several attorneys he has trained in this area of law throughout his career to further help potential claimants evaluate their cases.

• Probate
  Our firm has the experience in Maryland probate law to help you work through your legal issues quickly. We will educate you on your rights, including Maryland’s laws regarding the spouse, children, and siblings of the deceased.

Finance Law

• Tax Law
  Maryland legislature changed its estate tax law to raise the ceiling before tax will be assessed. In 2017, this means that estates that do not exceed $3,000,000 are exempt from tax. This exemption will increase to $4,000,000 in 2018 and approximately $5,900,000 in 2019. This means that, while there are circumstances where a trust may be the best estate planning tool for a prospective client, oftentimes a will is enough.
