Torrance Memorial's Palliative Care program aims to improve the quality of life of patients and their caregivers when coping with a serious illness and can be provided in the hospital, clinic or at home alongside curative treatment. It provides a holistic approach provided by an interdisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, social workers, chaplains and other specialists that focuses on: Helping you understand your medical condition, Providing options that allow you to achieve your healthcare goals, Relieving symptoms associated with your illness or treatment, Supporting you and your loved ones emotionally.
