General Info

North Torrance Optometry has been serving our patients' eye care needs since 1986 when Dr. Tak Shimazaki opened his second office in Torrance. Dr. Mayeda came on staff that same year, spending his time at the Hawthorne office until both were consolidated into this current location in the late 90's. In 2005, Dr. Chad Shimazaki began practicing and seven years later, purchased the practice from his father.
