Autism Behavior Consultants is an agency specializing in the treatment of autism and related developmental disorder using discrete trial training. The agency utilizes applications of applied behavior analysis including discrete trial teaching and Skinner's analysis of verbal behavior. It provides the traditional program for families with school, regional center or private funding, the workshop model program for families outside of the firm s service area who do not have services available to them and consultation services for schools and other outside agencies. Autism Behavior Consultants considers each child as a unique individual with different needs and abilities and designs a tailored program that addresses specific strengths and weaknesses in the areas of educational, communicative and social development.
