Founded in 1964, Topeka Metal Specialties is a subsidiary of LB Steel LLC and provides steel fabrications and welding services. The firm, based in Topeka, Kan., started out as a small family owned business and has presently evolved as a provider of metal fabrication and welding facilities in the Midwest serving a number of industries. The parent company, LB Steel LLC, is known for manufacturing both non-prime strip mill plate and steel counterweights. Topeka Metal Specialties has over 15,000 square feet dedicated to assembling original equipment manufacturer's products. The firm also offers both robotic and manual welding to deliver weld processes to major original equipment manufacturers. Additionally, the fabrication services offered include turret, laser, plasma, oxy-fuel cutting, forming, saw cutting and machining.
