Established in 1971, Sheltered Living is a nonprofit organization that offers residential support services for disabled individuals. It offers several accommodation options that include group homes, apartments and small houses and serves more than 150 individuals. The organization offers case management, work skills instruction, life skills training, and community integration and access. Sheltered Living services also include behavior enhancement, transportation, and compensation and training and supervision. The organization also offers Group, supported, assisted and independent living options to residents. Additionally, the organization provides family and patient education programs, and social and recreational activities. Sheltered Living is located in Topeka, Kan.
