THE ATMOSPHERE FELT LIKE A HIDEOUT FOR THE MOB,BUT WITH THE GLITZ OF A SPEAK-EASY, WE FELT LIKE THEY WERE HIDDING THE BABES IN THE BACK & CHEF WAS WORKING HARD IN THE KITCHEN ON A SKILLFULLY & TASTY PREPARED DINNER IN ORDER TO PLEASE THE GODFATHER AND THE REST OF THE GANG. THE SMELLS FROM THAT DIRECTION WAS MAKING OUR MOUTH WATER! WE'LL BE BACK TO EXPERENCE IT AGAIN AND AGAIN!

Bootleggers Supper Club is a former Prohibition Era hideout for mobsters. The restaurant is housed in a beautifully restored log building with serene views of Lake Nokomis. The lounge/bar is absolutely huge and allows plenty of space for dancing and mingling with the upscale clientele who dines here. The food is tremendously appetizing. I have been here on numerous occasions and have tried a variety of menu items. Needless to say, I have been more than pleased every time. The service is outstanding. Everybody from the waitress to the owner cares about the customers. They want you to feel right at home. I cannot stress how excellent this place is. PLEASE DO NOT EAT ANYWHERE ELSE! I assure you, this place is the BEST! I would say Silver Birch and Tomahawk Lodge follow the leader, but they are not even in Bootleggers' league!
