  When using an injection to deliver treatment into painful joints, it is necessary to be exact and precise. Some common areas, such as; hip joints, SI joint, glenohumeral, biceps tendon, greater trochanteric bursa, subtalar joint, ac joint, and calcaneal-cuboid require this precision. The area that needs to be injected may be as little as 2-3mm wide. The ultrasound ensures accurate needle placement.
