- UltrasoundWhen using an injection to deliver treatment into painful joints, it is necessary to be exact and precise. Some common areas, such as; hip joints, SI joint, glenohumeral, biceps tendon, greater trochanteric bursa, subtalar joint, ac joint, and calcaneal-cuboid require this precision. The area that needs to be injected may be as little as 2-3mm wide. The ultrasound ensures accurate needle placement.

- OrthopedicsRegenerative medicine is a cutting-edge form of treatment in orthopedics involving biological therapies to assist in your body's own healing process. We, at Toledo Orthopaedic Surgeons, will utilize the amniotic fluid to inject it into injured areas. This has been shown to stimulate healing and speed repair for bone, muscle, joint, soft tissue, and nerve injuries. Our therapies are aimed toward patients who have failed conventional treatments such as anti-inflammatory medicine, cortisone injections, physical therapy, surgery and rest.
