APS provides billing and practice management services to hospital based physicians throughout the Midwest. Headquartered in Toledo, Ohio, APS employs more than 100 billing professionals with an average tenure of more than 10 years. APS utilizes IBM hardware and its own proprietary medical billing software. To enhance data exchange a LAN and WAN network supported by Microsoft software allows for maximum flexibility in data flow. A team of computer programmers, network specialists and operators supports APS s information systems. The sophisticated billing software is designed to meet the special needs and billing requirements of hospital based physicians. APS provides regular and routine compliance audits of report documentation, CPT and ICD coding and billing to all carriers.
