What started out as a part-time business venture quickly turned into a full-time career for the owners of the Pizza Shack. With solid customer support beginning on its opening night in August of 1974, it has continued to grow and expand. The restaurant has accommodated entire sports teams, Sunday school classes, wedding rehearsals and class reunions. For more than four summer seasons, Pizza Shack has been the destination of the Indiana Transportation Museum s Pizza Train serving capacity crowds on Saturday evenings. It serves a variety of appetizers, salads, pasta dishes, sandwiches, and dine-in and carry-out pizzas. Pizza Shack maintains a location in Tipton, Ind.
