Tipton Community School District is a kindergarten to grade 12 public school district comprising the high school, middle school and the elementary school. The middle school of the district offers courses in various subjects, such as reading, math, language and science. It additionally provides extended learning and special education programs. It also offers the NewDirections which is a cooperative program offered in coordination with Kirkwood Community College. The schools of the district additionally offers programs on art, music, physical education and band. The district additionally oversees the administration of the schools, plans budget and programs, provides teaching tools and appoints teachers and staff of the schools. The district also provides a wide range of athletic opportunities, extracurricular programs and nutrition. The school district is located in Tipton, Iowa.
