Hilda Walker Intermediate School is an academic institution that serves students in grades five and six. Its curriculum includes English, math, science, art, social studies, language arts, music, Spanish, computer applications, and special, physical and technical education. The school operates a library and newspaper, chess, bowling, dance, drama, book and video clubs. Hilda Walker Intermediate School maintains a guidance department and offers speech therapy services. It additionally provides meal and transportation services, as well as organizes science fairs. The school offers various athletic activities that include volleyball, basketball, cross-country, and track and field. Hilda Walker Intermediate School conducts parent-teacher conferences.
