Having been diagnosed with sleep apnea and given results from 5 sleep studies over the years, I am well informed and have tried various medical techniques to overcome the problem. It's up to you which doctor you choose, but I will tell you this doctor's $6,200 fee for treatment was a complete waste of money for me and in his own words the result of his sleep study test using his appliance was "TERRIBLE." I had hoped for more positive results. Other professionals offer relief and for much less. UPDATE: I received a recent call suggesting I would be provided with a new remedy outside of a dental appliance and classified as a CPAP accessory. The purpose of my original visit was to avoid the common material used in more typical non dental CPAP treatment, which I am highly allergic to. I was reassured it was new and the material was different. My call to the manufacturer concluded I would have once again been subjected to a debilitating allergic reaction.
