Mount View High School is a part of the Maine School Administrative District No. 3, which operates elementary, junior high and high schools. Mount View High School s academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, chemistry, algebra, geometry, calculus, biology and physics. It also offers anthropology, psychology, history, astronomy, and earth and environmental sciences. The school provides several sports activities, such as basketball, baseball, softball, hockey, soccer, golf, wrestling, cheerleading, and track and field. It also operates various activity groups, including the National Honor Society, a student council, and German, French, debate, creative writing and thespian clubs. In addition, Mount View High School provides transportation, food, and guidance and counseling services to its students. It is located in Thorndike, Maine.
