In 2004, Armstrong s net sales totaled more than $3 billion. Also known as Armstrong World Industries, the company is comprised of: Armstrong Floor Products, a manufacturer and marketer of residential and commercial floor products; Armstrong Building Products, a manufacturer and marketer of acoustical ceilings and suspension systems for commercial and residential applications; and Armstrong Cabinet Products, a manufacturer and distributor of kitchen and bath cabinets and one of the United States largest direct distributors of cabinetry. Armstrong Holdings is the parent company of Armstrong World Industries. Founded in 1860, and based in Lancaster, Pa., Armstrong has more than 40 plants in 12 countries. Armstrong Cabinet Products is headquartered in Addison, Texas, and maintains a facility in Thompsontown, Pa.
