TEEG, also known as Thompson Ecumenical Empowerment Group, is a human services organization that provides aid and support to families living in northeast Connecticut. It serves people with behavioral, emotional and mental health problems. The organization offers a program that enables individuals and families to receive fuel deliveries or utility payments in emergency situations. TEEG works with the Salvation Army to distribute emergency resources to local residents who can pay security deposits and buy clothing and furniture. In addition, it assists seniors with budgeting issues, paperwork and transportation. The organization is located in North Grosvenordale, Conn.
