Brookwood School, founded in 1970, is an independent, co-educational college preparatory day school that offers educational opportunity to more than 450 students from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. The school s 40-acre campus includes football, baseball and softball fields, a track, tennis courts, an outdoor basketball court and a well-equipped athletic activities center containing the latest weight-lifting equipment. The facilities include an administrative building with six classrooms, an indoor commons area and a state-of-the-art computer center. Brookwood School also offers a gymnasium building that includes a stage and a cafeteria. It has a science center with well-equipped biology and chemistry laboratories. The school has a dual library that provides separate sections for the lower, middle and upper school students and offers complete electronic research equipment. It is located in Thomasville, Ga.
