Upson Regional Medical Center, established in 1951 as Upson County Hospital, serves as a health care facility for the eight-county service area. Based in Thomaston, Ga., the medical center offers a wide range of amenities, such as an ambulatory outpatient center, a spacious lobby area, a 20-bed emergency service center and a radiology department that includes a women s diagnostic center. In addition, it provides services, such as anti-coagulation clinic, cardiology services, CHF clinic, intensive care unit, medical imaging, pain clinic, rehabilitation services, sleep disorder treatment and surgery.
