The Northwest Service Cooperative partners with various schools, cities, counties and other government agencies and provides innovative programs and services that maximize resources. It serves the residents of Kittson, Roseau, Marshall, Beltrami, Polk, Pennington, Red Lake, Clearwater, Norman, Mahnomen and Hubbard counties in Minnesota. The Northwest Service Cooperative administers the Adult Basic Education (ABE) program, which employs certified teachers and provides instruction in the areas of citizenship, basic skills, math, reading and writing. It also offers the English as a Second Language program, as well as conducts GED preparation classes. The Northwest Service Cooperative is located in Thief River Falls, Minn.
