Mezzaluna is characterized by serving authentic Neapolitan recipes fused with Florida cuisine. It was established in 2013 by the founder, German Buitrago. In 2016, Andrea Montealegre, co-owner & Director of Finance, handled the daily operations and quality control of the restaurant. Unfortunately, as many other business, during the COVID crisis, Mezzaluna had to close its doors for some months. In 2020, Germán and Andrea reopen Mezzaluna, this time with Fabián Gómez participation, acting as the Director of Operations and co-partner of Mezzaluna. Furthermore, the three owners invested effortlessly to position Mezzaluna as one of the most popular restaurant in The Villages.
