Since graduating from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon with distinction in 1992, Dr. Bricker has practiced in a variety of eye care settings including Ophthalmology clinics, private Optometry practices, and Laser Vision Correction surgery centers. Throughout his career, Dr. Bricker has always felt strongly that quality patient care includes both clinical expertise as well as time spent with his patients listening to them and giving a thorough explanation of his findings As the clinic director of a Lasik center, he has lectured on the topics of refractive surgery including Lasik, PRK, and the surgical reversal of Presbyopia, as well as given clinical instruction on procedures to treat dry eyes. During his time as a clinic director, he was certified to operate the laser and assist the surgeon during procedures. He also served on the board of the Sacramento Valley Optometric Association for several years and was in charge of continuing education programming for a time.. Dr. Bricker and his family moved to The Gorge in 2002 to experience the benefits of living in a smaller community and to have the ability to participate in the many outdoor activities available in the region. He is an avid mountain biker and also enjoys hiking, road biking, paddle boarding, and cross country skiing. He is also an active member of his church and has volunteered in areas such as serving on the Elder board and helping care for children in the nursery.
