Established in 1979, Peters Colony Elementary School serves students in prekindergarten through grade five. It is recognized by the Texas Education Agency and offers academic courses in language arts, reading, math, science and social studies. The school also offers programs related to music, creative drama, physical education, health and technology. Additionally, it provides glue sticks, folders, pencils, colors, markers, notebooks and scissors. Located in The Colony, Texas, Peters Colony Elementary School organizes geography bowls and spelling bee contests. Its art classes focus on drawing, painting, sculpting and sketching skills. The school s parent teacher association works in cooperation with several child advocacy groups and offers programs that benefit children.
