Established in 1989, Lakeview Middle School is located in The Colony, Texas. The school serves more than 800 students in grades six through eight. It conducts classes in various subjects that include reading, writing, math, science and social studies. It provides special education services to gifted and talented students. Lakeview Middle School also operates a parent-teacher association that conducts various fundraising activities. The school offers a variety of sports activities, such as football, basketball, soccer, volleyball and cross country. Its range of extracurricular activities includes art, music, home economics and physical education. In addition, it features a band, choir and orchestra. The school also offers English as a Second Language program. Lakeview Middle School is operated by the Lewisville Independent School District.
