Provided by YP.comWell first off I would really like to thank this store for being so in touch with their customers and making my shopping experience that much better. As always we went to go shopping on Saturday as a family as we almost always do. My daughter who is 2 years old was having a very rough day and was just not in the mood to be the angel we aspire her to be, lol. We were in the vegetables and fruit area when she broke into a complete and utter fit in the middle of the store, of course me and the wife are looking at each other throwing out things to try and calm her down with out any kind of progress. (It was one of those days) Out of no where the lady from the flower shop comes hustling over with a big red balloon for my daughter which of course dried up those tears and completely shattered whatever she was upset over before. (of course) My daughter thanked her as did we for the generosity of store for the balloon and even offered to pay for it but she said she totally understood what we as parents were experiencing. (thankfully) So we go about our way and of course we are almost done shopping and bam she let go of that balloon, and of course we had been stressing to her that it would be lost in the ceiling if she did. Curiosity got the best of her tho, she cried for a moment then we were explaining to her about how it will be okay and how she should of held on to it. She had stopped crying when here comes the Manager with a ladder to retrieve the balloon for my daughter. It really blew my mind that he really took the time out of his more than busy day to help a child retrieve her balloon, I was overwhelmed with a sense of thankfulness for his generosity, it was outstanding. Do we really ever see this kind of compassion as everyday people anymore or did i go back to the 1950's when people actually noticed you standing next to them trying to get to a box of cereal thats in front of them? Anyways this little story just infused my dedication to shopping with Kroger, because they still care about us little people and realize that every customer is a different situation. This store has surpassed my expectations as a consumer on prices, quality of produce and meat, and customer service. Also this goes to show that your neighborhood store can beat these gigantic eyesore of store without even breaking a sweat in my opinion.

Provided by YP.comEver since Albertson's closed here, the only grocery stores are Kroger and Walmart. I loathe Walmart and only buy there if I have to. The Kroger here is very, very nice and the staff know me by name. Their prices are very competitive with Walmart, the store is clean, staff is helpful, and love their produce and meat.
