Took my lab to Dr Johnson on June 2016 for him took at a fatty deposit on my lab's right thigh. Asked him if he could take cell from the limp to see if it were cancerous. He did a cystology in his office and advised me it wasn't cancerous. Previously, I'd taken my lab to another clinic I'd been using since I got the lab 7 years ago. The Vet at that lab said they could take a sample but would have to send the sample off to another laboratory. That lab would cost me $200 for its services. Dr Scott Johnson examined my pet, did a cystology and only charged $73. I also found my lab felt comfortable with Dr Jihnson. I appreciate Dr Johnson's communication skills. He is no effusive. He's polite but direct. His staff is also caring & efficient. Oct 4, 2016, I switched to Scott clinic. His clinic is more efficient, less expensive & not bureaucratic like the last which is part of a chain.

I have been taking my dogs there for six months, and they are very high maintenance dogs with lots of health issues, I find Dr, Johnson to be very thorough and very caring. His office staff is very nice and very helpful. I am very pleased I found this place.
I an so disappointed in the service we have received here. The entire staff is kind and friendly. My complaint is with the vet. He has no personality and gives no information. I took my 10-year-old dog in to see him because she had lost a lot of weight and was obviously not feeling well. After blood work, he told me she was diabetic, had some sort of infection and the liver tests were off the charts. He wanted to keep her for a few days and start IVs, perform tests on her liver, etc. When I told him we couldn't afford all that, he left the room and I never saw him again! I left in tears and later called him to ask if putting her on insulin would be a good idea. He returned my call 2 days later. I had questions for him - what kind of symptoms should we watch for, etc. No information has ever been given without me asking specific questions. I had to call the office today to ask if my dog could be blind - something we just noticed this morning. Megan said it's possible - it can happen almost overnight. We had never been told of any side effects we should look for. After I told the Dr. that we couldn't afford more tests and we weren't willing to put our dog through surgery or chemo, he evidently lost interest in us. We are totally disappointed by the poor care we have received from Dr. Johnson and would definitely not recommend him as a vet for anyone's valued pet.

Interesting place. I have been there 3 times now, for standard canine things, and have YET to meet the vet. Is there one there?
No good doesn't spend the necessary time on your pet. He looked at my boy for exactly four minutes and said nothing was wrong. My boy continues to limp
and lose fur two weeks later. Maybe if he spent more then 4 minutes he would be better now.

In Dr Johnsons defense I would like to respond to the person who claims his dog was mistreated. I happened to be at the clinic on that day and know that Panda Bear was vicious when anyone tried to touch him. The staff took him to the back so Dr Johnson could do an exam and give him his vaccinations which was impossible in the room because the owner obviously thought it was a laughing matter. It took 3 people to restrain this one dog and there were many scratches and bruises on the staff during the process. As far as the nails bleeding, it is kind of hard to cut the nails of a bucking bronco who is trying to eat everyone. My advice is if you are planning to take your pet to a Dr. teach him a little discipline. Dr Johnson did the best he could in a terribly hard situation. I guess you can tell a lot about a person by the kind of animal he has.

Incredibly the worst veterinary clinic and most unprofessional staff i have ever had the DISpleasure in stepping foot in!!! To the others' reading this review, please for the sake of your pet, do NOT make this same mistake!!! No other comments necessary, so please take heed!
We brought our dog for his annual boosters and to get his nails trimmed. Dr. Johnson and his staff brought him in the back room. Panda Bear screamed like someone trying to kill him. When i tried to go back to see about my dog Dr. Johnson slammed the door and said" don't come back her." He all most caught my leg in the door when he was slamming it. Our dog sustained a busted blood vessel and was bleeding from his nose. When Dr. Johnson's tech. brought Panda Bear back to the examination room Panda Bear paws were bleeding. She the tech. slid him across the floor and you could see the trail of blood that was coming from his paws. The tech. called him a wild one and gave the worm medicine to my wife so we could give it to Panda Bear when we got home.Keep in mind this is a service that we were paying for.In addition i was quoted three different prices for his exam. and booster shots (I.E.) rabies and other shots.Panda Bear would not eat and stayed under our bed one week without coming out .
