Chicken Express catered a funeral for my sister's family on Tuesday, August 13th. I understood there to be a discount for bereavement. The amount requested was for 20 people. We at lunch and dinner and still had a ton of food left over. This was my first experience with Chicken Express and it was positive!. The chicken, green beans, okra, mashed potatoes/gravy and biscuits were great and reheated well too. Will have to make a trip to Benton or Conway as there isn't one in North Little Rock.

The chicken needs a little seasoning, it's kind of bland but I like the way it's cooked. The fish outshines the chicken and I almost always get more than three on the 3 piece fish only order. I make a special trip across town for a peach smoothie. However, today I was disappointed in the fish. I was given 4 pieces but 2 of them were very small. Still, it tasted good and was cooked just right. The peach smoothies are the best drink in town. Tastes like biting into a tree ripened peach! But, the smoothie I got today was a HUGE disappointment. I guess the young lady who made it didn't have much practice but anyone could just look at that one and know it wasn't right...no peach flavor, just slushy ice. Again, a HUGE disappointment since the peach smoothie is what I made the trip for! Had to go back across town to get another. Guess I'll have to do the same thing there as at most of the other fast food chains and check my order before I leave the drive-thru. :(
