Let me start out by saying, I was really looking forward to having our first custom enclosure built by Steel Guard. In fact, we were going to order several more custom enclosures before I had this bad experience. To sum it up: Bad customer service, and will leave you in the dark. Putting together a safety enclosure with their only sales rep, Natalie Robbins, was like pulling teeth. Natalie also changed some of the parts that we ordered, after we specifically had a conversation about it, and I asked her to not alter the order. Natalie decided to change the parts I ordered anyway, to parts that saved Steel Guard on shipping costs. That's a shame, because we would have happily paid an extra $100(?) to get the correct parts that we actually ordered. Because of the changes that she made, our enclosure sags in multiple places and appears that it will eventually snap. Normally, I don't have a problem with making a small compromise, but this was unacceptable. I reluctantly decided to contact the president, Gregory Pretsch, to talk about my experience and I was pleasantly surprised when he promised to correct the problem immediately. That was the last I ever heard from Mr. Pretsch. Extremely disappointing that a company with so much potential would be cutting corners like this. Unfortunately, there are not many companies that make custom enclosures like Steel Guard, but I highly recommend that you look elsewhere before settling on Steel Guard. You have been warned!
