  Dr. Rasheed started his ophthalmology training in 1991. For the next six years he continued his training in England. In 1993 he was awarded the  Master of Science degree by the University of Bristol,  UK. In 1995 he was awarded the Membership of the Royal  College  of Ophthalmologists in the UK . After returning to the USA he repeated his residency training at the Martin Luther King Hospital in Los Angeles and did a Cornea and Refractive surgery Fellowship at the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He is a member of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in the UK. and is also a member of the   American  Academy  of Ophthalmology.
