      Founded in the early 1960s, MTS Seating specializes in manufacturing stackable banquet chairs, armchairs, sofas, ottomans, office chairs and tabletops and bases. Its product line ranges from stackable, portable chair designs to bar and lounge furniture. At the company s 300,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Temperance, Mich., products are manufactured and assembled in-house. MTS Seating utilizes a broad variety of materials, including steel, wood and aluminum frames; fiberglass seat shells; various powdercoat finishes and a wide array of upholstery styles and colors. The company also fabricates metal moving and storage essentials, including basic hand trucks, larger dollies and storage racks.

      I received 5 barstools on 2/2/12. The bar stools were packed one on top of the other WITHOUT any type of bubble wrap, plastic or paper around each stool or even between them. There was a rip in one stool and rub marks on two others.There were some minor scratches on the bases. I requested replacements for these seats. I received the replacement bar stools 3/14/12. I am very disappointed in what was sent. There is a flaw in the material - a big line - in two of the seats. Apparently they didn't care at the factory about how it looked. I'm sure many hands touched these stools and no one said anything about the flaw. I decided to go with MTS because it was a family owned business, thinking they would take pride in their work. I guess I was wrong. $900 worth of bar stool and they are an embarrasment. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!! The stars above are incorrect - it wouldn't let me do 1/2 star!!!
