- ElectrocardiogramA stress test is designed to see how the heart responds to stress by monitoring physical symptoms, EKG recordings of the heart, and blood pressure. This can be accomplished in many ways, including with a treadmill or with the assistance of medications that simulate physical stress. This test can be completed with or without imaging of the heart.
- Internal MedicineDr. Shah founded Pioneer Cardiovascular, P.C. in 2003. Originally from India, Dr. Shah completed an Internal Medicine residency at Grace Hospital in association with Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan in 1996. He then completed his Cardiology training at the Oschner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1999. Dr. Shah is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology as well as Interventional Cardiology.
- UltrasoundThis is an ultrasound of the heart. This is a painless test where an ultrasound probe is placed on the skin of the chest. Sound wave images of the heart are collected and allow physicians to assess the heart and heart structures such as the heart valves.
