  Space maintainers help hold space for permanent teeth. If your child loses a baby tooth prematurely due to decay or trauma, adjacent teeth can drift into the empty space and cause potential crowding and bite changes. To prevent this from happening, the dentist may recommend a space maintainer.

  Lumineers are thin porcelain veneers that are bonded to the front of the tooth to correct a variety of conditions including tooth discoloration, noticeable gaps, broken or misshapen teeth. Parents may consult with our doctors about options and outcomes.

  Nerve Treatments – If decay reaches the nerve of a tooth, the nerve may need to be treated in order to save the tooth and to maintain the vitality of the remaining nerve tissue. Following the nerve treatment, a crown is usually placed to protect against fracture.

  Dr. Lepetich believes that caring for a pediatric patient is more than diagnosing and completing a procedure. Over the years, his concern for children’s oral health expanded beyond pediatric dentistry and he became particularly sensitive to the delicate emotions of children who hesitated to smile because their teeth were not as straight as they wished them to be. Dr. Lepetich developed such a strong interest in orthodontics that he completed additional instruction in the delivery of orthodontic care for his patients in addition to pediatric dentistry.
