About Our Team Vintage Carburetors, Inc has established a reputation of delivering quality and dependable overhauls and repairs. Marty has over 24 years of experience in the carburetor overhaul industry. He began his career in 1984 at Precision Air in Florida, training under Gene Wrigley and retired Bendix engineer, Jerry Church. From 1998 to 2003, he worked for South East Fuel Systems, Rockledge, FL continuing to overhaul and flow test carburetors. In 2004 Marty partnered with Mike Nixon ( Vintage V12's, Inc ) to start Vintage Carburetors in Tehachapi, California. Over the years, Marty has been involved in a number of carburetor projects for air racers including Dago Red, Strega, Rare Bear, and Voo Doo, just to name a few.
