Don't sign a contract with Golds Gym. I signed a contract with this Gym and 9 years later am still paying. It was the grand opening and I was told that I had a 30 day trial period. They said they needed my signature and credit card info in case of an injury. They said If I did not want to continue the membership to contact them and they would void my contract. I went 2 times and decided this gym was not for me. I contacted Golds Gym and they said that my membership was cancelled. 6 months later I started receiving harassing calls stating that I owed the full years membership. I explained the situation and was told everything was resolved. 3 years later I started getting harassing calls and notifications saying that I owed. Last month a police officer showed up at my doorstep and stated that I had a warrant and needed to pay 300.00 or I was going to jail...all while my kids watched in tears from the door. I payed the 300.00 and went to court yesterday. I was given no option other then to pay 1000.00 to Golds Gym. The initial years contract was 300.00 for the year. This Gym is not honest and ruthless. I highly advise NOT to do business with Golds Gym
