The Taylor Police Department provides law enforcement services for the protection of citizens. The department is administered by the city of Taylor in Texas. Its office of the chief of police is responsible for the management of the department and public safety communication systems. Taylor Police Department s field services division is responsible for uniformed patrol and traffic enforcement. The department s operations division is comprised of the animal control, criminal investigations and community services units. Additionally, its 911 division provides communication services to various police and fire departments in the surrounding areas. The Taylor Police Department administers the Serving Our Seniors program that focuses on the protection of senior citizens.
